It's a tough one because the games I've played the pass defense has been decent unless heavily mismatched. That video I posted on the previous page shows the user can handle the CPU offense. From a slider perspective, I would honestly just drop either QBA or PBL. Ruin their rhythm a bit and see if that helps. From a game management, the coaching adjustments have definitely helped me in my games, but I have to play the games to find out what to adjust. Remember, these sliders are pretty much heisman default with a couple subtle tweaks. They aren't for everyone, and not something I am going to dig so deep in and "lab" as much as I have in the past. I think the game as a whole is exactly where I wanted NCAA 14 to end up - and touching it too much may ruin that.
I haven't tested it, but the premise is there modify slightly from default and determine what needs the most attention. __________________

Oh exactly, the DB glitch was the worst thing of all time, because NCAA 13 was so gorgeous. I'm losing games because I haven't done my defensive homework really. That's a much better feeling than thinking oh it's the sliders the reason my DB didn't react or got beat. No, it's simply because I've matched him up wrong, and called the wrong adjustment at the LOS. Last game I lost bad to Colorado as Baylor. We did keep Sanders to 66% comp with 230+ yrds a TD and an INT. Their run game was crazy with 33 attempts by their RB for just under 150 yards. The toughest part for me was dealing with the no-huddle and make sure I can risk committing underneath or over the top. There will be an update possibly, just needs to be tested. I've been looking at the user's OL just having a tad bit of resistance against the CPU's DL, who currently feel like a 99 OVR throughout the line no matter who we're playing. So a slight bump of PBL to 52 has been pretty good. Coorslightking1, superjames1992 and BallinVol like this. __________________

I've made 3 changes (unrelated to my lack of skill) based on the passing game in general feels a bit to perfect. QB Accuracy: 40/40 - Both side are too accurate for my liking maybe a drop to pass blocking could help force some errors here as well. WR Catch: 40/40 - I've noticed defenders are knocking the ball loose more often and a slight increase to dropped passes in coverage when there's some contact. Interceptions: 25/25 - Yes defenders are better athletes these days but just seems off how often they can intercept all manner of passes as if they were as skilled as top receiver. Think this set works as a great base and can probably work on all difficulties with slight tweaks for personally preference. With not straying in most case to far from default values seems easier to dial everything in and get playing versus tinkering endlessly. Going to a Dynasty with Georgia Tech as a test for both coming to grips with the recruiting and iron out any slider tweaks. ZekeRoberts likes this. __________________ |

I may look at AA just to see if I can find significant differences. steelerfan likes this. __________________
