The Arizona Cardinals host the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday in an NFL Week 5 game at State Farm Stadium in Glendale.

The Cardinals lost Sunday's game20-17 to the Philadelphia Eagles, when new kicker Matt Ammendola misseda 43-yard field goal attempt with 17 seconds to play that would have potentially sent the game to overtime. It sailedwide right.
Arizona had a third-and-1 with 22 seconds left and opted to have Kyler Murray spike the ball to go to fourth down. With no timeout, perhaps they did not want to risk running another play and not being able to get the field goal team on the field in time.
Overtime depended on a kicker just signed off a tryout early in the week when regular kicker Matt Prater was deemed unfit due to his injury.
The Cardinals trailed 14-0 but came back to tie the game at 17 in the fourth quarter, another comeback in a season full of them already. But they came up short thanks to a drive that last almost eight minutes of the fourth quarter and produced the Eagles' go-ahead field goal with 1:45 to play.
The Cardinals are 2-3 with a road game at Seattle next Sunday.

The Eagles took 7:58 off the clock after a 17-play drivethat started with 9:43 left to play in the game, and CameronDickerhits a 23-yardfield goal with 1:45 to play. Cardinals get the ball back, down 20-17.
Tie game alert
Eno Benjamin's 11-yard touchdown run with 9:43 to play has tied the game at 17. The Cardinals trailed 14-0 but their defense has played well since and they are keeping the Eagles' offense off the field with long drives.
One running back left
The Cardinals are apparently down to one available running back as the fourth quarter begins. It's Eno Benjamin, with James Conner out, Jonathan Ward not on the bench and out of the game with hamstring injuryand Darrel Williams questionable to return with an knee injury.
Look out for more multiple wide receiver sets.

Cardinals cornerback Byron Murphy has had a solid game today, and he unloaded on Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith early in the third quarter.
Conner has rib injury
The Cardinals open the second half with running back James Connerannounced as having a rib injury. His return is questionable.
Fake punt, then a score
Head coach Kliff Kingsbury called for fake punt, and running back Darrel Williams took a direct snap and ran for a first down. The Cardinals go 91 yards on 16 plays but end up with a field goal as the first half expires. 14-10 Philly.
The Cardinals had two plays from the Eagles' 2-yard line but could not come up with a game-tying touchdown. Still, the rally from being down 14 points gives them some momentum going into the second half.
What Brown can do for you
The Cardinals get on the board with 5:24 to go in the second quarter, Kyler Murray to his good buddy Marquise "Hollywood" Brown. Brown caught the ball over the middle, broke two tackles and a third for good measure as he ran into the end zone. Brown has three touchdowns on the season, and Murray now has six touchdown passes. 14-7 Eagles.
Brown gained 20 yards after the catch as he snaked his way for six.
Hurts so good (early)
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts looks like everything Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray can be but isn't at the moment. He's running the ball, moving out of the pocket and completing downfield passes and turning broken plays into big gains.
With 10:11 left in the second quarter, Hurts adds his second TD run of the game and the Eagles go up 14-0. Arizona's defense has been on the field for much too long already.

Cardinals trail early again
Another week, another team scoring first against the Cardinals. The Eagles finished off an impressive opening drive with a touchdown to go up 7-0 in the first quarter.For the fifth time in five games, the opposing teamis the first to score against Arizona. It's also the fourth game in which the opposing team has scored on its opening drive of the game. The exception is Carolina from last week.
Ertz reaches milestone
With his six-yard catch on the first drive of the game,Cardinals tight end Zach Ertz has at least one catch against all 32 NFL franchises in his career. Hejoined veteran tight end Gerald Everettas the only active player at that position to have at least one catch against all 32 teams.
Moore, Green, Pugh good to go
For the Cardinals, wide receivers A.J. Green and Rondale Moore were announced as starters on offense, as was left guard Justin Pugh. All three were on the injury report this week.
Tight end Zach Ertz, a former longtime Philadelphia Eagle, got a loud ovation from the crowd when introduced. There is a good amountof Philly in the seats at State Farm Stadium, mostly behind the visitors bench.

No Rodney Hudson vs. Eagles
The Cardinals are without starting center Rodney Hudson this afternoon. Hudson did not practice all week due to what was announced as a knee injury, so Sean Harlow is next on the depth chart and is set to step in.
Other Cardinals inactives appear below. Rookie Myjai Sanders is active and could make his NFL regular season debut Sunday. J.J. Watt is in, a week after announcing his irregularheartbeat and still playing in last week's game.
No kicker Matt Prater, though, out with a hip injury. Matt Ammendola takes over, kickingwith his second NFL team this season.
